Fleet 33 offers two-way global satellite communications with improved spectrum efficiency for low-speed Voice and Fax communications (up to 4.8 kbps and 9.6 kbps, respectively). Fleet 33's Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS)* makes it possible to make greater use of Internet applications while incurring costs only on the amount of data transferred.

Safety
Fleet 33 does not have
GMDSS functionality. If you require this in a Fleet terminal,
look to Fleet 77.
