The SOLAS V/19-1 Long Range Identification and Tracking (LRIT) regulation is now in force and has a compliance date of 31 December 2008.
Despite many issues still being worked out in the IMO, the system is expected to go live 1 January 2009. We are aware that many Maritime Administrations are still not yet able to provide their ship-owners with information on how to implement LRIT.
For this reason, Marlink has put together this compilation to try and assist our customers.
