Safety (GMDSS) and Ship Security Alert Systems (SSAS)

Ease of installation and use
Iridium is easy to install and takes a minimum of space above deck, employing a small omni-directional antenna with no moving parts. The Iridium set comes with a standard RJ11 connector for easy connection to standard analog telephones or PABX. Using Iridium is as easy as dialing a normal telephone. The system offers all the valuable services of mobile/cellular telephones and requires a minimum amount of maintenance.
*Send-only. Iridium cannot be used to receive either fax or telex messages.
