Inmarsat mini-M* offers digital satellite communication for: Voice, Fax (2.4 kbit/s), Data (2.4 kbit/s) and Internet access.
The Inmarsat-Phone package contains a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM) giving access to services for people in remote areas. Although specifically adapted to meet the needs of operators of commercial vessels, both offshore and on inland waterways, it also available for other types of remote users such as disaster relief, up country farms, mines, survey sites, journalists and refinery or pipeline operations.
