Inmarsat Fleet (33, 55, 77)
   -
Flexible Mobile Satellite Services to Suit You

Inmarsat’s Fleet range of services comprise a range of antenna sizes to suit different types of vessel, offering voice, fax and data communications for both ocean-going and coastal vessels.

Fleet customers are able to make phone calls, as well as access email and the Internet using Mobile ISDN, or stay online all the time with the Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS), only the data sent and received is ever paid for.

Features

The Fleet family offers a range of services for two-way global satellite communications with improved spectrum efficiency for low-speed voice and fax communications and high-speed transmissions of speech, audio and data. Fleet's Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS) makes it possible to make greater use of Internet applications while incurring costs only on the amount of data transferred, whereas its Mobile ISDN service is well-suited for applications requiring greater bandwidth and size of files.

Application

Fleet services are offered in all four ocean regions. The Fleet family is suited for the majority of vessel types, covering the range of needs for ocean-going vessels such as tankers, container ships down to smaller craft such as pleasure, fishing and patrol vessels.
